Hurry over to these incredible Nextbase dash cam bargains, which are 40% off!

We now have some US deals as well as the dash cam UK bargain I mentioned in an earlier post. Wired onboard cameras from a well-known manufacturer of dash cams for far less than $100? These mid to low end single-camera models, the Nextbase 122HD and Nextbase 222G, are 40% off on Prime Day, which is unusual.

Dash cams from Nextbase are renowned for their simple setup, clear touchscreen displays, and excellent image quality. In fact, both of the 122HD versions provide 1080p video and clear Nextbase optics, which should be sufficient for the majority of consumers. A 40% discount is also applied to their more expensive brother, the Nextbase 422GW, which features professional night vision and 2K (1440p) quality shooting.

The Nextbase dash cams keep you covered not just while you’re driving; if your car hits a bump while you’re parking, a parking mode will instantly start recording. Prepare your car-eoke voice.

Amazon has discounted Nextbase 122HD from $99.99 to $59.99.
Amazon has reduced Nextbase 222G from $129.99 to $77.99.
At Amazon, Nexbase 422GW is presently $149.99, down from $249.99.

Who is it that is rapping on the door?

Utilising an outdated doorbell still? You are to blame! There is no justification for not changing it as the prices of the Ring Video Doorbell Wired and the Ring Video Doorbell Wireless are both at their lowest points ever during the Prime Big Deal Days event.

The Ring Wired ($34.99), which has two-way speak and sophisticated motion detection and is hardwired utilising your existing doorbell for continuous power, enables you to keep an eye on your front door from anywhere. Similar functionality is provided by the Ring Video Doorbell ($54.99), which also includes sophisticated motion detection. Which one you select is the only issue.

Previously $64.99, Ring Video Doorbell Wired is currently $34.99 at Amazon.

Previously $99.95, Ring Video Doorbell is only $54.99 at Amazon.

Under $30 for a video doorbell? Please, yes!

The Blink Video Doorbell is currently only $29.99 for Prime Day, which is a fantastic value.

This is $5 less expensive than it was on Black Friday of last year. Since I’ve been holding off on replacing my video doorbell (I now have the now essentially obsolete first generation Ring doorbell), the price drop below $30 is very alluring.

The best-ever pricing for LG’s 65-inch C3 OLED is available for the 2023 model.

One of the best TVs in the world is the LG C3 OLED, and Amazon is currently offering the 65-inch model for a record-breaking low price of £1,689. We’ve never seen it cheaper in the UK, record low indeed!

(If you’re in the US, pal, we have a tonne of carefully chosen Prime Day 2 TV bargains for you.)

But let’s get back to this amazing offer on a feature-packed OLED TV from LG scheduled for arrival in March 2023 because it has a stunning picture with vibrant colours and strong contrast owing to LG’s newest Alpha9 Gen6 chip. Along with a premium 2023 OLED display, you also get four HDMI 2.1 connectors for next-generation consoles, a slim, streamlined chassis, and a new webOS experience for far under £1,700.

Want a little more information before clicking “Buy”? Visit our in-depth review of the LG C3 OLED. However, this small review says it’s pretty good:

At long last, an Nvidia RTX 4080 worth purchasing

This great offer for the Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics card that we discovered yesterday is still available. Although the RTX 4080 is a great GPU, its price is prohibitive. It was priced similarly to the more potent 4090 when it was first released by Nvidia, and it was significantly more expensive than the 4070, which provided better value for money.

To be honest, this Prime Day sale has caused it to drop below $1,000 for the first time, which is the price it should have started at. To receive the discounted pricing, just make sure you have a Prime membership.

I test headphones for a living, so if you’re looking for the best sound, look right here.

Would you like to try out planar magnetic audio during the Amazon Prime Day sales festival? Excellent, and I salute you; nevertheless, since day two has already begun, don’t wait too long.

So let’s get started: right now, for Prime Day at Amazon in the US and the UK, you can purchase the outstanding Edififer Stax Spirit S3 audio at a hefty discount, since they are at 20% off. Hurrah!

In this concise style, it’s difficult to be too specific about the nuances of planar magnetic designs, but our raving Edifier Stax Spirit S3 review has all the details you need.

Oh, okay. Planar magnetic drivers differ from dynamic drivers, which are more commonly utilised, in that they use a flat membrane as opposed to the cone- or dome-shaped ones you typically see in headphones. This is positioned between a series of magnets to create a diaphragm that is suspended uniformly. Why does that matter? Due to the fact that planar magnetic drivers are particularly resistant to several types of audio and electronic distortion, i.e. better music, which is clearer and more detailed.

The Stax Spirit S3 headphones from Edifier are among the best instances of technology done properly, but that is all you really need to know. And now for the discounts!

Book enthusiasts can save a lot on Kindles.

I enjoy reading and have long sworn off ebooks, rather preferring traditional books. I adore how they look, how they feel in my hands, and occasionally even how they smell.

I just travelled on vacation, but instead of stuffing my small bag with books, I sneaked in the Kindle (2022), and I instantly fell in love with it. I had access to a huge selection of books and the screen was comfy to read on.

Best of all, a Kindle book sale allowed me to purchase a book I had been eyeing for just $0.99, a significant discount from the hard edition.

Given that Kindle ereaders are an Amazon product, it may not be surprise that they will be marked down significantly during the company’s Big Deal Days events. My top option is

These offers for robotic vacuums are truly Roborock.

How about 40% off Roborock’s selection of robotic hoover cleaners if you’re searching for something that is both a) less expensive and b) lot easier to use than the Dyson deal I just mentioned. especially the Q5, which comes in two variations, the first of which is even more hands-off than the second.

Right now, Amazon is offering the Roborock Q5 for $259 instead of $429, a 43% discount. With a three-hour runtime, it correctly maps your home using LiDAR for path-finding.

But the Roborock Q5+ is also available at Amazon for $399, down from $699. The charging cradle for this vacuum has been modified to include a waste disposal and storage system that collects dust from the Q5 robot. Therefore, you just need to empty the storage system periodically rather than regularly emptying the little robo vac. Just one less thing to consider!

A deal that genuinely stinks

Not least of all because it includes a laser, the Dyson V15 Detect is a fantastic cordless vacuum cleaner. Additionally, Amazon reduced the price by more than $200, making it practically a bargain. Even while it still has the high price you would anticipate from a Dyson product, the savings is still very much appreciated.

Great wireless earphones at a reasonable cost

In order to maintain an economical $49 price point, Amazon updated its Echo Buds wireless earphones this year by removing capabilities like active noise cancellation. The innovative design of the new Echo Buds allows them to lay comfortably above the ear canal while fitting in the outer ear. That way, you can easily hear outside sound while using the earbuds and you won’t need an ambient or transparency mode.

Although they don’t have audiophile-grade sound quality, as we discovered in our evaluation of the Amazon Echo Buds (2023), these budget-friendly wireless earbuds deliver decent performance for the money and have a sufficient battery life of up to 6 hours and 20 hours when used with the charging case. Amazon has currently reduced the cost of its new Echo Buds from $64.99 to $34.99, further improving the value of these already affordable earbuds.

Please indulge us with another non-Prime deal so we can bring you the best anti-Prime Day Apple deal overall and the cheapest Apple Watch deal you can get. With a silver or gold case and sport band, the Apple Watch SE is available for just $149, a savings of $130 or 40% off the RRP. Although it is a little dated now, it is still compatible with watchOS 10 (and, consequently, all the most recent iPhones) and provides a fantastic workout tracking experience. Incredible.

4 cheap air fryers

The current hottest product is still air fryers. Oh, it looks like I just got fired for that last phrase, but before I leave, I wanted to highlight four air fryer sales that demonstrate how joining this trend doesn’t have to be expensive.

First up is the really affordable alternative from a reputable brand, the Cosori Small Air Fryer Oven, for $39.99 (was $59.99). Now, with only 2.1 quarts of cooking area, this lives up to its name. However, because of this, it is also a compact unit, making it a good option if you only need something to help you prepare smaller meals or live in an apartment with limited room.

Take a look at the Ninja AF101 Air Fryer, at $89.95, down from $129.99, for more room and from the leading brand in air frying. With a good temperature range and control choices, this offers a 4-quart capacity.

Or, for $84.99 (down from $99.99), get even more room with the Cosori Air Fryer Pro LE 5-Qt. This product, as its name suggests, has a five-quart drawer and a higher temperature range (450°f as opposed to 400°f) than the Ninja above. It has nine features, including “Shake Reminders” as well.

The PowerXL Air Fryer 7 QT Maxx Classic, which costs $82.49 (down from $125.99), offers more cooking area than you might have anticipated for a budget single-drawer air fryer. It also claims to have a seven-quart capacity, as you might anticipate.

On a TV table, a Sony HT-S400 soundbar with a subwoofer.

A strong, affordable soundbar upgrade for your TV

There is a Sony soundbar offer you should look into if you want a cheap audio upgrade for your TV that will deliver significantly clearer dialogue, broader sound, and more dynamic range and you don’t mind forgoing Dolby Atmos functionality.

The Sony HT-S400 soundbar and subwoofer combo is now available at Amazon for $178, down from $299. It is a 2.1-channel soundbar, which means that it is stereo with additional bass for impact, but many people are content with that. And compared to the 10W to 40W of power you get from ordinary TVs, the 330W of power will be a revelation in terms of sound. Although it has a remote of its own, it links to your TV by HDMI ARC for incredibly simple installation and operation, and there is Bluetooth for music playback if you’d like. It fits TVs that are between 42 and 65 inches wide because it is 35 inches broad.

LED Philips

Make a statement with these Philips Hue offers.

If you’re inclined, Prime Day and Black Friday are the greatest times to get Philips Hue smart lights (I did so last Black Friday and it really changed the game in my TV room). Hue discounts haven’t been particularly good in recent months, I have to admit after following them for a few years, but there are a few standout selections right now with record-low costs for some packs.

The Philips Hue White and Colour Ambiance Starter Kit, at $85.49 (was $129.99), is the best option for Hue newcomers. You receive two full-color bulbs and the Hue Bridge, which makes all of Hue’s greatest features—including compatibility for Apple HomeKit—available. This is the lowest price ever for this package.

The Triple pack of Hue White and Colour Ambiance Bulbs for $75.99 (down from $134.99) is definitely more your style, though, if you’re already a Hue user. This is the lowest price this bundle has ever been, and it’s a simple, substantial expansion of your Hue setup.

Remember to bring your “boring” necessities.

Prime Day is an excellent opportunity to restock on items that you know you will eventually need but can’t bring yourself to order usually. Although a lot of the home goods in that category fall outside of our purview as a tech publication, it still includes useful items like these:

Pay $5.22 for rechargeable AA batteries.

a $4.33 HDMI 2.0 cable

Big TVs, smaller (cheaper) costs

At this time of year, many individuals choose to upgrade their home theatre systems, and Amazon has complied by offering some big-screen deals on Big Deals Days.

The 75-inch TCL Q6 Fire TV offers entire HDR support and the colour accuracy of QLED for just $679 (down from $799), making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking for the biggest screen for the least amount of money.

The 75-inch Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED is an alternative and is currently $899, down from $1,099. This TV is a QLED, as the name again suggests, and it fully supports HDR. Its ability to extract remarkably high levels of 4K information from images pleased us when we reviewed the 65-inch model, and this is encouraging news for the larger 75-inch model as well.

But perhaps 75 inches is insufficient. An 85-inch Samsung CU8000 is now available for $1,297, down from $1,597. Our experience with the Samsung BU8500 and Samsung AU9000 before it tells us that you should expect extremely strong detail with 4K images and an impressively even backlight with rich colours, despite the lack of QLED. We currently have the 75-inch version of this TV in our testing room, but it’s too early to make a judgement.

Of course, the quality of all of these TVs is rather entry-level. Look at the 75-inch Samsung QN85C, now $1,997 (down from $2,697), if you want something large and high-end but where the price isn’t completely out of control. It is a Neo QLED type, which uses a mini-LED backlight for incredibly bright illumination and outstanding contrast due to the presence of any local dimming zones. With support for VRR on all four HDMI ports and 4K 120Hz, it’s also a great gaming TV.

Pixel 7a Google

For much less, a great inexpensive phone

Android enthusiasts on a tight budget may think about purchasing the Google Pixel 7a while it’s on sale for $100. This phone, which is the company’s newest mid-range model, is essentially a slightly smaller Pixel 7 than the normal model. Despite this, it still manages to include the same chipset, a superb camera, and a 90Hz display while being far less expensive.

The Pixel 7a puts on a strong photographic performance and earns a spot on our list of the best camera phones thanks to a pair of highly capable rear cameras (a main and ultrawide camera) and clever processing provided by the Tenor G2 CPU.

4 tempting gaming laptop deals

Today’s Prime Day discounts include a sizable selection of gaming laptops for all price ranges, so I’ve selected four at various price points that caught my eye.

From the least expensive to the most expensive, let’s start with this Acer Nitro 5 laptop for $699, down from $899. It is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1080p 144Hz screen, Intel Core i5-12500H processor, Nvidia 3050 Ti graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. This is a fantastic value because the minimum amount of RAM that we currently suggest for gaming laptops is 16GB.

Next, if you’re looking for a laptop with a bigger screen, consider the $949 (was $1,199) Acer Nitro 17. An AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS eight-core processor, a current-generation Nvidia 4050 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD support the 17.3-inch 1080p 165Hz display. Both in terms of value and size (17-inch gaming laptops are… fairly large), it’s a lot of equipment for the money.

With the MSI Katana 15 laptop now available for $1,199 (down from $1,599), upgrade your specs even more. You have a 15.6-inch 1080p 144Hz screen, a 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia 4070 graphics, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

Or go all out with the Razer Blade 15 laptop, at only $1,959 (down from $3,299). You won’t be able to find this kind of power in a smaller chassis anywhere else, even though this Razer Blade sports a 12th-generation Intel Core i9 processor and Nvidia 3070 Ti graphics. This laptop is the best-looking one here in a variety of ways because it still has a powerful CPU, strong graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD, and a 15.6-inch 240Hz OLED screen with 1440p resolution.

Wearing the Beats Studio Pro

The Beat starts to fade out

The enormous 50% discount on the Beats Studio Pro headphones this year is one of the most unexpected offers of Prime Day 2. Even though they were just released in July, you can currently purchase Beats Studio Pro for $179 on Amazon, saving you a whopping 49% off the $349 MSRP.

That is an outrageous price to pay for headphones with so many features. Even at full price, the sound quality and design of the Beats Studio Pro wowed us, but we were disappointed by their lack of several capabilities. but for a reduction in cost? Leave it alone; they’re a great deal.

But they’re not the only Beats to achieve this; Beats Studio Buds are now available at Amazon for the lowest price ever—$89. Although the MSRP is $149 according to Amazon, nobody has actually paid that much for them in a very long time. Even though they’re getting on a little now, their features (for both iPhone and Android) are so fantastic that they’re still a great nice deal for this price, which is $10 less than I’ve seen them before. Additionally, I still adore the design.

Samsung QN90C TV with big savings text overlay and a purple background

The Samsung QN90C TV has been recommended by our Senior Editor for AV.

Al Gryphon chose the 65-inch Samsung QN90C Neo QLED TV as today’s standout bargain. The Samsung QN90C 65-inch is now $1,698 at Amazon, saving you a fantastic 40% off the original price.

According to Al: “In my Samsung QN90C review, I found plenty to like about its bright, refined picture, but also its great suite of gaming features, which include four HDMI 2.1 ports with 4K 120Hz support and Samsung’s Gaming Hub for cloud-based gaming. The QN90C also has an appealing NeoSlim design, but it delivers spacious sound for such a skinny TV via a 4.2.2-channel speaker system.”

The QN90C is a mini-LED TV that offers good contrast for movies even if its backlight may be locally dimmed. It is perfect for sports or gaming during the day in a bright space where reflections might be an issue for dimmer TVs.

4 months of free Amazon Music Unlimited usage

If you already pay a monthly price for Prime, you’re presumably aware that it includes access to certain music streaming. However, it’s not quite the same as having an Apple audio or Spotify subscription because you only receive access to a lesser number of services, such as no offline listening and no Dolby Atmos audio. You must pay extra for Amazon Music Unlimited if you want to access all the tunes and features.

However, as part of today’s Prime incentives, you can get three months of Unlimited for free if you’re not presently a member or four months if you are. With all-you-can-eat food and music, that will see you through to the new year.

Frying three times in a row

Given all the foods you can cook in air fryers, it’s hardly surprising that their popularity isn’t waning. However, they can be a little pricey, so Prime Day is a nice opportunity to acquire one for less. Additionally, Amazon is selling the Ninja DZ201 Foodi 8-qt 6-in-1 air fryer for $179.

Amazon Echo Show 5 in black with a TR’s Price Cut emblem against a blue background.

“You got to go with your gut, that’s all you got”

Oh, how I miss you, Jim Greer.

Anyway, the brand-new Echo Show 5 is currently on sale for just $39.99, a gigantic 56% reduction! And indeed, the price is a new record low.

As our review of the Echo Show 5 explains, this second-gen. With the help of Amazon Alexa, Show 5 has a small 5.5-inch display and amazing sound with stronger bass and crisper vocals so you can watch films and TV shows like the last season of Jack Ryan (again) or listen to podcasts and music.

And here’s the thing: even during Amazon’s significant sales occasions, the screen-equipped Echo Show 5 is rarely reduced. We suggest? It’s a great offer on a gorgeously jewelled smart speaker. The fact that it’s small is also a good thing since, as James Greer once advised, “Never move anything into an office you can’t carry out in one box.”

The only tiny catch is that this is an iPad from 2021, shortly before Apple updated the look of their most affordable tablets with the newer, larger 10.9 model. Don’t let that deter you, though; the extensive and well-supported iPadOS ecosystem makes the basic iPad a fantastic entry-level tablet for all of your daily use, including surfing, streaming, and a little light gaming.

Apple Watch discounts

Beware, the price of the Apple Watch Series 9 has already been lowered.

…by an enormous $10. It’s definitely not as exciting as we had thought.

Even so, it’s the first price reduction for the new smartwatch, which received a strong four out of five stars in our assessment of the Apple Watch 9.

For once when discussing an Apple flagship model, it seems like there is at least one genuinely useful, game-changing new feature – Double Tap – thanks to the upgraded S9 chip. Matt Evans, our fitness editor, was the one to sing its praises, stating that, “it’s clear that it’s largely more of the same again – but with a twist.”

During the previous Prime Day, fellow deals editor Mackenzie Frazier quickly purchased one of these affordable Blink Mini security cameras. And right now, you can inexpensively upgrade your home with a small smart security camera.

Okay, I’ll admit it—this price isn’t a record-low one. Actually, during the previous Prime Day, it was $2 less expensive. I apologise, but at the end of the day, what’s $2 between friends?

What’s a name worth?

Here at TechRadar, there has been much debate regarding Amazon’s choice to call this week’s sale Prime Big Deal Days. Since its announcement, different team members have given it many other names that include all of those phrases, though not always in the proper order. My favourite were Amazon’s Big Prime Deals Days.

Even though it’s a minor issue, let’s be honest: Amazon’s pronunciation sounds so odd that it could pass for a Kingdom Hearts subtitle. And, hey, people, it’s Amazon Prime Day right there. You know, for the past, 10 years, you’ve been calling your Prime-only 48-hour promotions by that term. However, were Amazon Prime Day 2 or Prime Day October truly off the table? I get that you might want to differentiate it a little.

Since it was a preview of the Amazon Black Friday sale, at least last year’s name, Prime Early Access Deals, made more sense. In comparison, Prime Big Deal Days just feels like a wordy mess.

Well, I’m rambling now. How do you feel about the name? Is it even relevant? Do people even care, or is it just me?

Old story: Matt Hanson advises you to get the MacBook Air M1.

He is back at it. Matt Hanson is yelling at us all to buy the MacBook Air M1 once more as another sales event is about to begin. You can’t haggle with our managing editor of computing. impossible to reason with. doesn’t experience sympathy, regret, or fear. And will definitely continue till more individuals own the MacBook Air M1.

“Although it was first released three years ago, it’s still a brilliant laptop, offering excellent performance in a thin and light body,” according to him. “And, with this discount, it’s now better value than ever.”

Please let him know if you decide to pick up the MacBook Air. He could then finally get some rest.

Yes, this is a record-breaking deal on a terrific, potent all-purpose laptop, but oh no, it’s happening to me too…

What if you had to have AirPods but your spending limit is less than $100?

It’s okay, Prime Day is here. The second-generation AirPods are currently available on Amazon for just $89, making them Apple’s most affordable set of earbuds.

How admirable is that? It’s only $10 higher than the previous low, and we believe it to be a great deal for a set of Apple’s high-end earbuds. True, they might decrease even more on Black Friday, so if you’re set on getting the best deal ever, wait till then. However, if you want iPhone compatibility but don’t need noise-cancelling, we still think this is an excellent deal.

These Sony earbuds shouldn’t be this excellent at this low of a price.

Look, these excellent earphones are suddenly absurdly affordable for the quality you get. Our Senior Audio Staff Writer Becky Scarrott gave the Sony WF-C700N a full five-star rating and gushed about how great the sound was only $119. They are now $10 less than they have ever been and a fantastic offer at under $90 thanks to a 27% discount.

Yes, there is active noise suppression, but Becky discovered that these earbuds really shine while listening to Tidal music since this unlocks Sony 360 Reality Audio, which is 24 object-based channels grouped in a 360-degree soundstage that was introduced by Sony back in 2019.

To set it up, you’ll need to take pictures of your ear, but it is most definitely worth it. She wants to gush for hours about the sound-per-pound value, but this is a short-format thing, so just know that you’re getting a lot more than what this money typically buys.

Previously $119, Sony WF-C700N is now $88 at Amazon.

So, if you’re interested in purchasing one of Amazon’s well-known streaming devices, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is now available for the lowest price ever.

This is a straightforward and reasonably priced method for streaming 4K content to any TV with an HDMI connector.

In our evaluation of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max, we felt that this model pushed the streaming stick to its absolute boundaries, offering exceptional performance for the money and providing everything you need to watch 4K content. Additionally useful were the accessibility capabilities, which included voice controls for simpler navigation and connection to other smart home devices.
